The September Reset: One Hour That Could Change Your Q4

It's Friday again!

Kids are back at school, life is returning to normal and hopefully your head is pretty much back in the game.

And if it is, hopefully you're thinking about how to make Q4 the best quarter you've ever had.

If that's you - if you're dreaming BIG this month, I've got you. My newsletters this month are going to give you one tip each week to help you prep for a Q4 that brings in sales.

Let's start with what you're not doing

One of the biggest mistakes I see founders make is this:
They’re so busy doing that they don’t stop to check if they’re actually being effective.

The result?
👉 Busy calendars, exhausted brains, and still no real movement in sales.
👉 A business that’s both unproductive and unprofitable.

And I get it — when you’re spinning all the plates, “zooming out” feels like a luxury. But here’s the truth: one hour spent reviewing your activity could completely change how Q4 goes for you.

Now what you should be doing

Next week, I want you to schedule an hour to look back at your last 90 days and ask three simple questions:

1️⃣ Visibility — How are people finding me?
If the answer is “I don’t know,” it’s time to track where leads are actually coming from. One easy way to improve visibility: pick ONE platform and show up there with a consistent message (rather than spreading yourself too thin).

2️⃣ Nurture — Am I staying front of mind?
Many founders drop the ball here. They put out content, but never follow up, check in, or give value to their warm leads. One quick fix: send a check-in email or DM to past prospects — not to sell, but to share something genuinely useful.

3️⃣ Conversion — Am I making it easy to buy?
Sometimes your prospects want to say yes, but you’ve buried the offer in too much noise. One simple tweak: make sure your most relevant offer is visible on your website, your socials, and in your email signature.

That’s it — one hour, three questions, and you’ll instantly see where the gaps are.

And here’s the exciting part: across September, I’ll be diving deeper into each of these areas — visibility, nurture, and conversion — so by the time Q4 begins, you’ll be sharper, more strategic, and ready for sales.

For now: put that one-hour audit in your diary this week. It’s the highest-ROI hour you’ll spend all month.

Thanks for reading beauts!

Happy Weekend! So I just got back from the opticians. Me and the boy are both glasses wearers, and we've both had our "your eye test is overdue" letters in the past few weeks, so off we trotted down to Specsavers to have those little puffs of air shot into our eyes. And lo, we both have new prescriptions - the boy's eyes are slightly better (hooray for no longer secret reading in the dark!), my eyes are slightly worse (boo to being vain and not wearing my glasses half as often as I'm supposed...

Hey stunner, I’m writing this with that slightly knackered-but-buzzing feeling you get after something really good has happened. Yesterday, I hosted my very first Socially Shared meeting as the Sutton & Coleshill host. I won't play it down - it was a cracker. A full room. Proper conversations. Women actually talking to each other, not just swapping Instagram handles and legging it. People left with new connections, new opportunities, and the foundations of their 2026 marketing strategy...

Hi Reader! Happy New Year - and welcome to 2026! January always arrives with a strange mix of pressure and possibility, don't you think? Everyone telling you to “start fresh”, “go bigger”, “post more”, “sell harder”… while your nervous system is still recovering from mince pies and end-of-year exhaustion. So this month, I want to do something different. Rather than overloading you with even more actions to do at a time when (clearly) our bodies want to be slowing down and hibernating, I'm...
